Front cylinder at tdc of intake stroke. Can try to explain the often nylon gear inside of the mag cover and lining up either the "B" or "C" mark, but far better is to look under the archives of the Allis forum here. You will find photos and an explanation of it. Give it a shot, it works. Been there, done that. Do a search of "AC B timing" or something very close, and you'll find it.

Could also post the question over at the Allis forum, but the best is to look at the photos and read. Can't go wrong. Good luck, isn't hard.
