I give you credit for trying this. Saves a lot of fuel and with the warm temps you have been enjoying this last month the soil temp should make that alfalfa jump out of the ground. Plus not having to contend with the spring flush of weeds and good moisture should be able to set good roots before 'ol man winter gets there. Way to go. We did this with winter wheat in Se Iowa a few times and worked out great. Did you add any cover crop or mix with the alfalfa? Migraine
