I'm just old enough to remember that opening line from newsman Gabriel Heater.
After a session with the cable news channels tonight, I think we need someone with that same outlook broadcasting today! Between hearing about the hurricanes, floods, terrorists, high fuel prices, rising interest rates, dropping stock markets, bird flu pandemics, etc...it's enough to make a person buy some "Ma & Pa Kettle" movies and unplug the news.
Seriously, this site has more redeeming social value than the entire cast of doomsayer anchorpersons combined. Keep up the good work (and good news) everyone!!
