I just did a clutch job on a Ford 861 powermaster. $800.00 and some change. The tractor is scrap metal without a clutch, so I paid it. Since I put the new clutch in I've re-landscaped a ditch along my property, mowed my yard 5 times, graded my drive way twice, land scaped the back of my house, pulled 7 tree stumps from the corner of my property, ya-de-da-de-da....I think I got my $800.00+ back, and then some eh? It hurt comming up with $800.00, but if I had to pay someone to do what I did with that beast, I could have bought 2 or 3 9N's with that cash. Any money you spend on your tractor, it will gladly pay you back provided you want to spend the time in the saddle to "git-er-done". I also complained about the price...my wife had a cow. Neither of us feel we wasted money buying a new clutch now. We both know it was an investment in a very useful tool. I also know that this winter, it will pay me back again whenever it decides to dump 12 to 18" of snow in my driveway. If you need it, buy it (you'll get your money back with interest). Vic

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
