ROPS - The right size??

I recently purchased a Ford 7000 row crop tractor. I bought a ROPS that is a take-off from a state-owned Ford tractor (don't know size). The state apparently painted over the stickers. Any other way to tell if these ROPS are suitable for a 7000? Is missing the bottom plate; how thick should the plate be for bolting to a 7000? Also, what could I expect to pay for a suitable ROPS for a Ford 7000. Thanks.
