You mentioned you enjoy traveling but don't want to be away from home 3 to 4 weeks. Are you sure you want to be in the trucking industry? Have you ever considered the postal service? As I understand it, you start off part time and work your way to full time. It generally pays pretty well and offers something many other companies don't; a retirement plan and health insurance.
