The Perkins is one of the best engines of that size ever made. The tractor has filters everywhere on it and the hydraulic oil is separate from the transmission which is very good design. The 3-speed partial range power shift is an excellent unit. You can still get parts for the White at the AGCO dealer. A good White 2-85 or 2-105 (2-85 with a turbo) goes for $6,000 to $12,000 depending on age, condition, hours, whether or not MFD, etc.
