I guess it depends on the individual but I have always preferred a stock look, and most of the aftermarket cruise modules look just that... aftermarket. However, most vehicles now are built with standard wiring harnesses. That means that regardless of the options, all the wiring harnesses are in place. That makes it cheaper for the company to build in the long run. (Fewer different parts, less time looking up which to use and/or screwing up) 94 should be old enough that you could find the cruise parts (computer, switch, cable etc.) at a junk yard for fairly cheap then just plug everything in. I did this on a Probe that I owned and it worked great.
