I�ve installed Dana (sold under the Sears name) cruise control units on several different vehicles. Installation and adjustment is relatively straightforward, and they all worked great. I'd say go for it! Your truck is not noted for it's good fuel economy - 11 mpg is actually pretty good. I carpooled with a buddy with a similar truck with a manual transmission�.9 � 10 mpg was typical for our 15 mile commute (90% expressway).
