I had a few baldies years ago and they were the wildest cows I ever had. I had to build a rhino proof loading chute out of logs to get them on a truck. One had her nose shredded from trying to find a way out. I could have sold her to a rodeo. After a few generations of breeding to Tarentaise bulls I had nice gentle cows and the angus in the baldy foundation cows took the horns off most of the subsequent generations.
