Hair's gettin thinner, trousers are gettin' tighter, knees kind've ache, knuckles always ache, still gotta shave every morning, gals don't whistle at me anymore but never really did, can't run fast but never could, love the taste of a good dark beer on a hot day but don't drink but maybe one or two a year, lottery guy aint called me to tell me that I won even though I never play... For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house. The gentleman no longer farmed because the entire area was developed with housing and light industry. I had stopped several times and knocked on the door but no one would answer.
