Thanks much for the link.I have been wanting information on this process for some time now.The University of Tennessee did some research on this a few years back.Think it was reported in "Progressive Farmer Magazine".The idea has a lot more applications than on just engines.It is a very efficient method of burning any carbon containing substance including old tires.I think shredded or chipped tires just might be the fuel of choice for a burner like this.Even the smoke would be burned as it contains a lot of carbon. I guess we could go back to ear corn and burn the cobs to run out tractors on too.NOT!lol,bob--I ain't shovelin no more corn!
