I don't see how any one could say there is not enough room to get on and off with those fenders on, plenty of room unless you are 400#. Our 41 H had the fenders when bought in 49 and never taken off for any reason till we traded it off in 84. When we got one of the green ones without fenders that was one of the first things we don was get a set of fenders and did not have to take them off for cultivators, only time they came off was for the mounted picker
