A family fled and made it to relatives in my state with only the clothes on their backs. The tv news interviewed them. The mom needed clothes for the kids and eventually lodging. The dad looked at the camera and said "I need a job. I'll do anything, I just need work". We took them our kids hand me downs and they were so happy. Not picky or too proud. I was was impressed that after all that he had the motivation to go to work. I was glad to help HIM. Incidentally, they were not well off down there either. They had to have gas money wired to them to get out. So, just because you are poor doesn't mean you should riot.
