Howdy, I had to push my way through these fuel whiners. I could have been here sooner! I'm not too familiar with Fords but I may be able to help. We had this happen at a tractor pull in South Dakota. Go through the points. Clean them up really good. Make sure that you have spark coming out through every spark plug wire. If you don't, you could have a blocked current through a couple wires. Check some of this stuff out and get back to me. Thanks and God Bless
