My neighbors have raised sericea and lespedeza for years. Sell the seeds to Japan and the highway dept. Makes good hay if raked and baled while it still has dew on the leaves. Keeps the soil from washing also. They burn the stubble in the fall after harvesting the seed and no till wheat and rye in it. Combine the wheat and rye the next summer.
