You may have to replace an expensive hydro trans,but remember. You will NEVER have to replace a clutch, T/A, shifter linkage etc. Buy the tractor right,fix it right,take care of it as others on this post have recommended,and you'll have a fine,long lasting tractor. You dont say what model you're looking at. I would sure like to find a 1026 IH,had one for many years.
