I had to get a fuel level sending unit for my dodge cummins so I called one dealership and they said 160 for a new unit but it would take a day to get there. So I called a second one because I needed to get back on the road ASAP. They said 130 for a used one and it would be ordered. Itdid'nt come when it was supposed to so I called a 3rd and 4th dealership and I was quoted 260 and 305 for the same part! What's up with that!? All are dodge dealerships so I figured they ought to be within 10-15$ of each other. Have you guys run into that alot with tractor and vehicle parts? I'm gonna be bugging a lot of parts guys for prices from now on. Maybe if the parts guys are too busy giving price quotes to sell parts dealerships will just sell parts for reasonable prices so people can just worry about getting the right part.
