I don't understand the two posts below complaining about string heads. Maybe they don't work on the cheaper models, but my Stihl autofeed head works just fine. And when I get into tough stuff like cattails and brush, I switch to a three-pointed brushcutter blade. The brush blade is good up to about half-inch saplings; anything bigger than that and I use a chain saw.
