The Ford thousand series. The 4000 in particular. Their design stood for a generation, and it's still tough, efficient and reliable. Their later descendants merly added more features and ergonomics. There's more than 5 models to the thousand series, so I guess that's all I need to say...... but I'm not biased......noooo
