Mine is one of the best features of the tractor. Most of those available have 8" stroke. Mine has 10". Used a surplus aviation cylinder. Mine has 2 9/16" bore which works OK for my 35 HP tractor. Bigger cylinders sometimes have trouble clearing the end mount for the upper link at the tractor end- if you use one, you will understand. If your remote valve does not seal perfectly, your lifted implement may droop as you transport and the valve leaks down. I installed a pilot-operated check valve between my remote valve and the cylinder- seals tight!
