CASE 245 TRACTOR

I've just bought a small farm, 11 acres, 6 acres under woodland,
the rest in meadows and orchards. I've the opportunity of buying
a Case 245, about ten years old, 900 hours, to help with the
work needed to develop and restore the place. I'm a complete
novice when it comes to tractors and have tried in vain to find
information on the 245 but there seems to be a dirth of
information available. Can anyone offer advice on this particular
tractor, it's reliability, quirks, good points and whether it would
likely be the right machine to help with clearing woodland,
digging foundations for barns, to relocate a house, installing a
network of field drains. Other tasks in due coruse will be to
resow the orchard and meadow grass and renew fencing around
the property.
