I guess it would depend on the tractors in question. I have a JD 750 4wd and just dragged a disabled old JD B up a big hill. The place that B came from had a Ford 861 and it was spinning all over trying to pull it up a little hill.Once you have a tractor with 4x4 you don't know how you got along spinning your wheels without it.
