The serial number will be right in the vicinity of the gear shift lever. It will have a letter at the end- I can't remember which end which indicates the model- a "B" for example. The B is a fine tractor. One might wish for more transmission speeds. The hydraulics are minimal. The engine properly tuned may well be one of the easiest starting and best running engines ever.
