I myself am installing wood burning forced air furnaces in my house and shop. Gas is nuts. Wood is to be had if I make it myself. I live in area where I helped farmers as a kid and I should have access to years and years of wood supply. To help the ol timers out I plan on selling cord wood and splitting the profits I make with the land owners so they can keep warm with out dipping into the retirement finances. Works out good for them and me. I think alternate heat sources will be in demand the next few years, might not be a bad business to get into if anyone is into heat system installing as a business.
