And how much of the price per liter is taxes? Sign on pump in Wisconsin says- remember 44.+ cents a gallon is taxes, don't blame the cashier. Most of gas taxes in US go to highway maintenace or road building or politicians pet building project somewhat related to transportation- maybe bike path or bus subsidy. Canadian church member noted some retail gas taxs in Canada go to medical plan, some go to general revenue fund to be used for whatever. Be interesting to see where taxs go in various contries. RN
