I had a lot of problems with this also. Their is great debate as to if it is covered under your homeowners policy and can make good arguments both ways. One rual rep would point out what section on my policy would cover me and my suburban rep says it does not. I asked for them to put it in wrighting and they would not. Guess I got my answer. State Farm was no help as was Farmers. I think they shoule remove the Farm from their name. Getting insurance is a real problem The area the agent is from really matters. Rual agents seem to get what your talking about and can get you what your need the more suburban you get they less likely they are to help. A rual Farm Family agent managed to put together a FARM policy that covered me including if the tractor gets stolen and medical insurance if some one gets hurt on my tractor. I'm even covered if I borrow someone elses tractor. I really don't understand insurance companies. The risk has to be low for this type of activity ?
