Allan didn't know he was going to buy Akmed's camels either, but Akmed is a very persuasive fellow. I predict he will sweeten the deal by letting Allan in on a portion of his cousin Gumbo Mogumbo's substantial inheritance, on which Akmed needs assistance in getting out the country. Lets see how this plays out- Allan is an intelligent enough fellow (despite his desire to get back into farming), but may be susceptible to the promise of easy money, as are we all. . .
