Did anyone ask the Amish man, who replied that it was ok for the wife to use the riding lawnmower because the business owned it, who owned the business? On a more serious note, there are more than one sect of Amish religion, just like there is more than one sect of protestantism. Apparently in some sects, some things are allowed and some aren't.
