You bought that red truck huh? It is a nice truck, want a cheap remedy? Swap out the ring and pinion for a lower gear ratio, if the engine runs good, just do that, think about it,,, you go turning up the pump or what ever, you lose fuel milage right? smokes, can wash out the rings and put diesil in the oil, can cause more headaches than what its worth. Ever see my F-350? Now thats a good truck now,, 7.3, 5 speed with a 4.56 rear end, yeah it goes bout 65 top end, but heck, I pull trailer with it, and you know those ol H's can git heavy sometimes,,, I betcha, you could find an overdrive automatic, put in a low gear rear axle, add a tranny cooler, and that would wake up that truck with less headaches than messing up the pump. Wanna see, come down and drive my Dually,,, you would think the front tires would leave the ground in first and second and third if you floored it,, oh,, and take care of the mosquitos too,, LMAO!!
