I would have to agree with T bone, that is why I went with the Maytag I have now, those compressors if they were done right at the factory almost go forever, well not quite but better than the others, I remember the family farm auction, there was the refrigerator that had been there since before world war 2 and it was still going, not the most efficient thing, but it still worked, the freezer did too, they were both purchased at the same time, and used the whole time, you don't see stuff work that long now, but it will work longer than the alternative..
