How many, what are you feeding, etc? Making one 50' trough is different than 10 5' troughs. What you need to stand up to hogs is different than the needs for sheep. There's other variables as well.

Rotting feed and cleanup is a substantial problem in wet areas. Consider how the water will drain, and how you're going to clean out the trough. Things like PVC pipe sections tip and wipe out easily, but don't drain on their own. Wood can drain easily, but doesn't wipe down as easily and can get quite heavy. Cement lasts forever, but you're never going to move it.
