Hi IDF, I would think they should have easy lasted longer than that. I just bought a new trailer with Dexter dual tandum, forward self adjusters, and used the trailer brakes heavy for 2k miles as I use trailer brakes more than TV brakes. It'll be awhile but I'm going to buy new shoes and some spare parts now for future replacement and I'll measure the new shoes vs the 2k used shoes and let you know the difference. I sure hope I get more than 7.5k miles from a set of shoes. From past experience, I agree with BFO, about 30k miles on shoes. T_Bone
