This comes up all the time on the Ford forum. I recommend using 134 in all three compartments: transmission, hydraulic reservoit and differential. This will provide smoother shifting in cold weather. More importantly, if 134 from the transmission or differential leaks past the seals into the hydraulic reservoir, it won't affect the hydraulics like gear oil will. Use whatever you use in the crankcase in your air cleaner as well.
