We had a NH in the late 70s. Traded a JD 24T on it. Can't remember the model but it was a sorry excuse for a baler. Worked all right in alfalfa but not in any grass or straw. Somebody had to ride on the back to make sure the knotters tied. We even had the factory personel out and they couldn't fix all the problems. Traded back to a JD 347 and have been JD ever since.
