Look on the left side, where the engine bolts to the tractor. On a flat surface there are a lot of numbers, maybe near some tapped holes. That would be the serial number, and you can check that against the serial numbers at the left of this page, under Research & Info. I'm a novice with Ford, having just one, but that is the correct area to look. Might also include the model number.
