I tried breaking beads on my old 8N tires by driving my truck up on a board on the tire sitting flat on the drive; didn"t work. Tried sledge hammer and pry bars; that didn"t work either. I took them to the local coop and they wanted $70 each to get my old rotted tires off; told them no thanks. Finally cut the tires off using a sawzall for the rubber and an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel for the steel wire reinforced tire bead; That worked fine. flathead
