Yep,JD has the best parts network by far ! Just stop and think all the different models they must keep stuff for some going back 70+ years.
I just got done working on a 1950 B model,dealer even had some stuff in stock ! Rest showed up next day or two at most ! Was able to get everything I needed. Sure some stuff seems high some stuff I even think ,How do they sell it so cheap ! It all evens out and I'm happy to walk out the door with it.Beats the heck out of getting something custom made. I don't think there is any company that ever made anything that still services parts like Deere does.Most automotive stuff is obsolete in 7 years.

Most of the parts I have needed to buy was because of someone elses abuse and lack of maintenance and repair. These parts were around at a much lower price years,and years ago I wish someone would of bought some instead of patching up and/or running without ! Alot of talk about restorations being done ,but not much talk about care and preservation so you don't need to do so much restoration.
