Case IH 885 2 speed Electric shift

1988 885 with optional 2 speed shift. Dealer worked on 1 or 2 years ago 3 times before it worked. They said that they replaced the relief valve in the 2 speed valve body. It then worked for 3 or 4 months and it would work when it was cold till it got warmed up and then it would knick in low range. I checked the solenoid with a heat gun and it still works wwhen it is to hot to touch. any subjection would be appreciated.
