I'm thinking that the pipe diameter should be 1.5" OD. Sounds like you got a stack, not an under the hood. Will be snug, not tight. Should also have a cut into the pipe that goes into the manifold for the bolt to slide up into, so can clamp it with the bolt and washer. May have to file that cutout so bolt will slide up into it. By the way, stacks are nice, but if you're gonna be around brush or tree limbs, you'll find yourself re-mounting and tightening every day. Spmetimes under hoods are more effective. Mark
