Dunno but the '65 and up tractors were extensively redesigned, especially in the housing, sheet metal, overall layout under the hood, and engine areas with most using the premium parts of predecessors (live/ind PTO and 8 speed tranny). The 4500 is even a later design and if it is like my 4600 much larger housing and very different. Like the 4000 was 40ish hp and the 4600 is 52 hp. I think the post '65 3000 replaced the 4000 (it's 40ish hp) but it is still different in the areas mentioned. HTH Mark
