Several years ago a somewhat famous lawyer was making a speech. In his rambling he made a statement that went something like, "a country of the people, by the people and for the people."
Male bovine excrement! I submit he said, "of the lawyers, by the lawyers and FOR the lawyers."
Then there's the amendment to the U.S. Constitution that begins, "Congress shall make no law . . .." Who says a missed period doesn't matter?
