I used to have literature from Elwood Mfg for a front wheel add on product they made for tractors in the 80s or so. I think they were from Illinois. Searched for the sales lit but did not find it. Did Google search, and ran across an article about Florida Flywheelers show which mentioned a 39 M with the Elwood front drive. Google "Elwood manufacturing 4 wheel drive for tractors"- about 600 responses will come up, and the story about the 39 M will be in the first five pages. Also one about 4020 with Elwood front wheel drive option.
