We got enough for one day yesterday, though.
Our rain gauge will hold about seven and a half inches; between 3 and 5 o'clock it filled to overflowing. Another half inch last night, and it's drizzling now.
I was out with the backhoe digging out the ditch at the end of our driveway until near dark last night, tomorrow I'll be fixing the washouts on the county's road.
Loving every drop.
Three years ago, in the midst of the worst drought is S.C. history, I swore I'd never complain about too much rain. Mom Nature's trialing me this year, so far I'm doing fine.
