Chris, Yes when you get on e-bay and look in the papers folks are quite proud of them. But get off the main roads, sure enough back away from well traveled roads, start looking and they can still be gotten for not mutch of anything. + - 500 to 1000. with the tower.
I know a place in San Angelo Texas, that will take your old head, either rework it or exchange it for $500 (price 5 yrs ago) and you have a head ready to go and start pumping water.
These guys selling these old mills at these ridiculious prices are catering to the people who have more money than brains. They want one cause... 'Granddad had one on his farm' Just do some extra looking and you can find one more reasonable. Good Luck,
