Check the cam follower pin for wear, replace it if necessary. Install a new piston seal and backup "washer" only if the hitch 'hiccups'. That will require 5 or so O-rings between the cover & cylinder casting. New O-rings on the jumper tube and return port in the center housing; new top cover gasket. Plan on inverting the cover to re-install the shaft and arm that fell off.
