Man, that's gotta hurt. 2500 bales around here will fetch a lot of green if you can sell it at the right time. I almost gave up on hay last year even with the price being high. High prices mean a lot of undercutting and your "promised" sales evaporate overnight leaving you with hay you could have sold if only you had known. 2500 is a lot of bales to "hold" on a person's word.
