Jeff, I have done tool& die work all my life, Co-owner of a shop since 1992... I love the work, but the business sux. The only exception is one customer, Family-owned business, good Christian folks.... If all customers were like them, business would be like a dream.. The big companies are another story, I think they have seminars on how to screw & cheat vendors... With the big companies, I often spend more time chasing payments than the job took.. after a while, you learn how to price jobs....LOL......Recently we quoted a job, & offered to cover repairs for a year, Customer said they were getting it done in China for half the cost, but wanted us to warranty it..... they can rot in HeQQ for all I care......
