Manuals for this mower are readilty available on the internet. Just do a search for Ford 515 manual. I have one of these mowers and they really aren't that heavy - sounds like a hyd problem with your tractor. The Ford 8N hydraulics is a self contained unit under the seat built right into the axle housing. Sorry I don't know squat about them! My tractor is a Farmall 350 that has the 3 pt hitch installed and uses an external cylinder to lift the link arms.
