I would not call that thing a swather. Swathers lay down grain for drying to combine later. Some have crimper rolls that you can bolt it & use it for hay as well. This thing has the crimper rolls in for all time. It is designed for hay making. Would call it a haybine around here. Could be a regional thing? --->Paul
